About Metex Heat Treating: Metex was founded in 1983 and has since grown to the largest heat treater in Canada with over 100 employees and over 85,000 square feet. Metex specializes in continuous and batch heat treatment, induction hardening, and nitriding. Metex primarily services the automotive sector across Canada and the Eastern US and has the capacity to turnover 350,000 lbs per day.
